THE REAL MOTHERLAND: ITV COMMISSION NEW PARENTING REALITY SERIES

ITV have reportedly commissioned new factual reality series 'The Real Motherland', which will explore parenthood and star a range of celebrity mums. ITV have not formerly announced the series.

Celebs who've reportedly set to take part in the new series, which is expected to film later this year, include Gemma Atkinson, Jennifer Metcalfe, Amy Walsh, Roxy Shahidi and Brooke Vincent. More names are expected to be revealed in due course.

Cameras will follow the group of mums as they make the transition to motherhood, whilst also balancing their careers, friendships and hobbies. It's been billed as a "real change of tune for reality TV about parenthood" by tabloid reports.

A source told The Sun: "We are so used to seeing celebrity mums on our screens, with a whole host of reality series about parenthood — but this new venture will show a very different side to motherhood. There’s nothing glamorous to see here — just the highs and lows of a group of real women, juggling their careers, kids and home life in a unique look behind closed doors."
