RATINGS REPORT: 31st AUGUST-06th SEPTEMBER 2026, MOST WATCHED SHOWS REVEALED
The latest 7-day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released for the last week have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.
Ludwig continued to top the week with 6,296,900 watching the third episode in its second series. It was followed by ITV drama Trigger Point which continued with 4,230,000 and 4,691,400. Opposite on BBC One, Vigil continued with 3,929,200 and 4,023,200 respectively.
The Gentleman returned to Netflix for its second series to 3,059,000 and 2,553,000 for its first two episodes. Midweek, Professor T was watched by 2,524,500 on ITV.
In entertainment, ITV launched new format The Box with Gary Lineker. The first episode on Saturday night brought in an audience of 2,253,900. Before The Box, The Voice continued with 2,432,900. On BBC One, Alan Carr's Picture Slam continued with 2,509,800 and Dragons' Den with 2,600,900.
The Great British Sewing Bee continued strong with 4,263,800 whilst Celebrity MasterChef drew in 2,423,400. Gogglebox continued with 3,136,800 and 23 Hours In Police Custody was watched by 3,138,400 on Channel 4.
