BBC launched reality adventure competition Destination X to 4,347,000 making it the biggest programme of the week. However, episode two dipped by nearly one million to 3,358,000 the following night. On Tuesday night, The Great British Sewing Bee continued with 4,276,000.
Mrs Brown's Boys returned to BBC One on Friday night to 2,467,000, 2,479,000 watched the return of Dragons' Den for a one-off episode, Love Island hit a weekly high on Monday night with 2,530,000. On Sunday night, new David Attenborough series Parenthood launched with 3,264,000.
In scripted, Karen Pirie topped the week with 4,129,000 for ITV on Sunday night, whilst 2,446,000 watched UKTV drama Annika repeated on BBC One.
In soaps, Coronation Street topped the week with 4,166,000. Emmerdale hit a weekly high on the same night with 3,815,000 and EastEnders on Thursday night with 3,269,000. Casualty continued with 2,617,000 on Saturday night.
