RATINGS REPORT: 15-21st DECEMBER 2025, MOST WATCHED SHOWS REVEALED

The latest 7-day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released for the last week have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.

Strictly Come Dancing reached the final with an audience of 8.489,000 viewers watching Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present their final live programme which saw Lioness Karen Carney lift the trophy alongside professional dancer Carlos Gu.

The final was sandwiched between two BBC Saturday nights favourites - Blankety Blank and Michael McIntyre's The Wheel. The former - hosted by Bradley Walsh - was watched by 4,158,6000 whilst The Wheel was watched by 4,961,000.

The Royal Variety Performance aired on ITV. The annual event, this year hosted by Jason Manford, was watched by 4,087,300 on Sunday night. Elsewhere in non-scripted, ITV went Inside M&S with 3,027,300, 2,662,000 watched Sports Personality Of The Year and Celebrity MasterChef aired a Christmas special to 2,290,200.

In drama, 4,793,600 watched the Christmas special of Beyond Paradise. Beforehand, Doctor Who spin-off The War Between The Land And The Sea reached its epic conclusion with an audience of 3,083,200. Coronation Street was the biggest soap of the week with a peak of 4,104,399.
