RATINGS REPORT: 14-20th SEPTEMBER 2026, MOST WATCHED SHOWS REVEALED

The latest 7-day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released for the last week have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.



The return of Strictly Come Dancing toped the week with 6,427,700 viewers for its first episode featuring new hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe. Directly afterwards, John Bishop hosted new quiz Wisdom Of The Crowd which was watched by 2,401,500.



Also on Saturday night, The Voice UK continued with 2,131,000 on ITV in an earlier 6pm slot to avoid clashing with Strictly Come Dancing. The Celebrity Inner Circle with Amanda Holden continued with 2,204,100 and The Hit List with Marvin & Rochelle Humes continued with 2,337,400.


It was the clash of the new dramas on Sunday night, with BBC launching The Split Up to 2,963,500. However, it was no match for ITV's new drama The Blame which was watched by 5,233,600. All Creatures Great And Small returned to Channel 5 for its seventh series with 2,928,300.



Trigger Point concluded with 5,022,600 viewers, whilst opposite on BBC One, Vigil concluded with 3,525,700. Ludwig continued with its penultimate episode, watched by 5,824,900.


In non-scripted, long-running factual strand 7 Up concluded with 70 Up. The first of two episodes on Tuesday night was watched by 3,525,300 on ITV. The Great British Sewing Bee reached its grand final to 4,294,400 whilst Gogglebox and Dragons' Den continued with 2,855,200 and 2,674,600 respectively.
