RATINGS REPORT: 13-19th JULY 2026, MOST WATCHED SHOWS REVEALED

The latest 7-day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released for the last week have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.

Outside of the World Cup, Diane Morgan's new BBC comedy Ann Droid was the highest rating programme of the week becoming a hit for the BBC. The first episode of the series consolidated to 4,613,300 after seven days. On Tuesday night, The Great British Sewing Bee returned to 3,639,000.

ITV launched new reality competition spin-off to daytime quiz The Chase. Titled The Chase Around The World, the series launched with 2,465,700. On Channel 4, the final episode in the series of Celebrity Gogglebox was watched by 2,641,400.

On Saturday night, a new series of Alan Carr's Picture Slam launched with 2,351,500. Also on the BBC that week, Fake Or Fortune? returned to 2,335,800, Chris Packham presented factual series Evolution to 2,087,100 and Who Do You Think You Are returned with 3,280,700.

In drama, ITV's newest crime thriller The Dark continued with 2,650,900 on Monday night, whilst BBC One's airing of UKTV original drama I, Jack Wright continued with 2,084,800.

On Saturday night, Casualty continued with 2,500,700.
