Sky News were first to begin coverage at 10pm, with 240,000 (1.5%) viewers.
ITV's coverage began at 11pm with a high of 1.2m (1.4%) viewers.
BBC News' coverage at 11:30pm began with 900,000 (13.2%) viewers.
In total, the four main channels averaged 2m (41.5%) viewers until 2am.*
Data provided by Broadcast suggests this is slightly down from the 2.1m who watched the US Election coverage on the four main channels in 2016.
