PREVIEW: Ainsley's Mediterranean Cookbook, ITV

Ainsley’s kicking off his journey across the Mediterranean in style on board a 44ft catamaran, where skipper Jean-Hughes teaches him the basics of sailing and they drop anchor in a crystal-clear cove on the island of Lavetzzi - and he cooks some sensational seafood skewers with pepperonata.

We join Ainsley on trip to the medieval fortress town of Bonifacio where he meets JB, a rugby player-turned-olive oil maker, as he samples his much sought-after oils before whipping up some cheesy stuffed aubergines in a stunning outdoor kitchen overlooking the harbour.

Ainsley's Mediterranean Cookbook returns Tuesday 27th April at 7:30pm on ITV.
