Trigger Point | Series 3 Preview (ITV1)

ITV’s propulsive drama returns to ITVX and ITV1 for a third series following a team of bomb disposal officers, known as EXPOs, as they dedicate themselves to keeping the capital safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats.

The third series comprises six new episodes and sees EXPO Lana Washington (Vicky McClure) and her team investigate a bomb threat that soon reveals itself to be the start of a sinister vendetta: someone is targeting individuals and demanding revenge.

Working alongside the Police Counterterrorism Unit, the Bomb Disposal Squad race against time to find the bomber before they claim their next victim. The new series will feature returning cast members Danny (Eric Shango), Hass (Nabil Elouahabi), DS Helen Morgan (Natalie Simpson) and DCI Batra (Maanuv Thiara) with guest star Jason Flemyng.

This series follows the success of the second series which averaged 8.1m viewers and was streamed 30 million times on ITVX, making it the second most-watched drama on ITV1 in 2024 with Mr Bates vs The Post Office taking the number-one slot.

Trigger Point returns Sunday 26th October at 9pm on ITV1.
