When it comes to chasing criminals, two wheels are better than four. In this brand new high-octane series, nowhere is off limits for the country’s highly trained police bikers. They are the UK’s fastest responders, at the ready to race at top speed to save lives and catch suspects on the run. Narrated by Jamie Theakston.

Near the end of a busy bank holiday weekend, Biker Cop Paul Buckley is called to a serious crash involving a car and motorbike in the North Yorkshire countryside. Being a biker, Paul can often cover the county’s 3000 miles of road faster than other units.
Approaching the scene, Paul is passed by an ambulance carrying the injured car driver for emergency hospital treatment after the head on collision with a motorcyclist who allegedly ended up in the path of the driver.
On arrival, there’s an update from paramedics at the scene that the biker has tragically died. Biker Cop Paul is joined by colleagues including Sgt Julian Pearson and Crash Investigator Rich Barker to begin piecing together how and why the collision occurred, and work out if either the driver or rider could be to blame.

Near York, after a disqualified driver fails to stop for police and goes off road and on the run, Biker Cop Paddy Green hunts down the runaway driver tailing him down a dirt track and making an arrest in the middle of farmer’s field.
After dealing with the fatal collision, Paul Buckley makes his way back to base and faces treacherous weather conditions and a near death experience he’ll never forget as he’s confronted with a motorist heading straight for him.
Near Ripon, as another biker falls victim of yet another bank holiday weekend smash, Paul Buckley and his Sgt – Julian race to lock down the scene and begin their investigation while paramedics help airlift the rider for urgent medical treatment. And, Biker Cop Paul races cross county in search of 3 female suspects after police control receives reports of an alleged theft from a local supermarket.
Police Extreme Bikers returns Monday 15th September at 8pm on 5.
