Daytime hit The Travelling Auctioneers returns for a fifth series on BBC One and iPlayer.

When Peter was told he had three months to live, he and wife Rosemary’s lives were changed forever. Twelve months later, Peter continues to challenge the odds and is focused on making every moment count.
With two grown-up sons who had health issues as children, the family knows life is fragile. Now Peter, Rosemary and their sons want one last holiday together but need help if they are to part with some cherished family heirlooms in the hope of making their dream come true.
On his hunt for hidden treasures that will dazzle at auction, auctioneer JB discovers boxes of crystal ornaments tucked away in the garage that could be just the ticket. Inside, a collection of old computer games reignites memories for Rosemary. But it’s Peter’s late mother’s jewellery, tucked away in a biscuit tin, that is hardest to part with.
Restorer Robin faces some tricky challenges. A 19th-century Japanese cabinet in pieces must be put back together, and the veneer on the frame of a bronze commemorative Spitfire plaque needs to be mended before either can go under the hammer. Will Robin’s craftsmanship bring the cabinet and frame back to life in time?
At auction, JB and Robin feel the pressure of raising as much money as they can for Peter and Rosemary. Will the crystal shine? And can Peter's beloved mother's jewellery help fund the family's much-longed-for holiday?
The Travelling Auctioneers returns Monday 5th January on BBC One.
