The Spy Next Door | Preview (Channel 4)

Two-part documentary telling the extraordinary story of Anna Chapman, the British businesswoman and model who was unmasked by the FBI in 2010 as part of a Russian spy ring.

The FBI reveals that Anna Chapman is just one of a sprawling web of Russian agents on the loose in the United States. When President Obama closes out a round of diplomacy with Putin, a swarm of FBI officers swoop on the network of Russian spies, leading to one of history's biggest spy swaps.

And when there's a spate of suspicious deaths among UK residents with links back to Russia, 10 Russian officers are sent packing, including Anna Chapman: a move that goes down badly in Moscow.

The Spy Next Door begins Wednesday 12th August at 9pm on Channel 4.
