The Great British Bake Off | Preview (Channel 4)
The Great British Bake Off returns to Channel 4 with new judge Nigella Lawson joining Paul Hollywood, Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.

Nigella Lawson is joining The Great British Bake Off as the show’s new judge. Nigella’s expertise, empathy and humour are the perfect ingredients for the Bake Off tent.
Meanwhile, Channel 4 announced that Second Helpings, a new-look companion show to The Great British Bake Off, will air weekly on the same night as the main series.
Hosted by Bake Off superfan Jon Richardson, the series will see Jon joined by Judi Love each week as they serve up their take on the episode’s biggest talking points and best bakes.
Together with a celebrity guest in the studio, Jon and Judi will chew over the drama, celebrate the standout moments and revisit all the action from inside the Bake Off tent.
Nigella joins the show following the departure of Prue Leith who became one of the most loved figures on British TV screens over nine series. Dame Prue Leith said, “I’m thrilled that Nigella is to experience brilliant Bake Off. She’s sassy, fun and she knows her onions — and her croissants, cake and crumble.”
