The next generation crime series is returning for an extended second series, revealing the ground-breaking police techniques used to solve murders on Britain's streets.
In the first episode of the new series, digital forensics uncover the months of online escalation of a fascination with blades that led to the murder of 15-year-old Harvey Willgoose. In February 2025, the teenager was stabbed twice in the chest by his former friend Umar Khan in the courtyard of their Sheffield secondary school.
The Digital Detectives returns Thursday 16th July on Channel 4.
