The Celebrity Inner Circle | Series 2 Preview (BBC One)

Amanda Holden hosts this exciting quiz show, packed with strategy, high stakes and lots of surprises. Five contestants choose a celebrity partner and are assigned a secret stash of cash, worth anything from zero to a whopping £6,000 – and various amounts in between.

The twist? Each pair only knows their own value before being thrown into a battle of wits, nerve and strategic gameplay across a series of challenging rounds.

Their mission? Uncover who has got what amount, outsmart their rivals and secure their spot in the final.

Each round brings tense showdowns, with the winning pair earning immunity and a game-changing power, before the group votes to cast a contestant and their celebrity partner out of the game.

Only two contestants will make it to the cash builder and the chance to double their combined cash, before the dramatic final, where they must make the ultimate decision. Will they choose to split their combined prize money equally, or will one player attempt to take it all, leaving the other with nothing? In this show, it’s not just about what you know. It’s about who you can trust.

The celebrities helping the contestants in the first episode are Ade Adepitan, Janette Manrara, Des Clarke, Catherine Tyldesley and Lisa Riley.

The BBC has confirmed that the daytime show won't return. A BBC spokesperson told TV Zone: "Whilst no further episodes of The Inner Circle are currently planned for Daytime, audiences can look forward to a brand-new series of The Celebrity Inner Circle which is currently in production and will be returning to Saturday evenings on BBC One and BBC iPlayer soon."
