Danny Dyer hosts the experimental new competition where eight celebrities give up not just the limelight - but light altogether.
In a world first, Chris Eubank, Paul Gascoigne, Max George, Nicola Adams, Chris McCausland, Scarlett Moffatt, Donna Preston and Chloe Burrows enter a pitch-black bunker to eat, sleep and survive for eight days in complete darkness.
There are terrifying challenges along the way to win items that'll make their lives easier, but if they fail, vital belongings like shoes and toothbrushes will be taken away.
At the end of it all, the celebs will vote among themselves to declare who has coped best in the black. But not all of them will make it - anyone who can't handle it might be left announcing 'I'm Scared of the Dark'.
In the opening episode, the celebrities acclimatise to their life without light, and find themselves relying on blind comedian Chris McCausland for advice. Personalities clash when pugilist Chris Eubank doesn't take kindly to swearing. And Scarlett Moffatt is given a secret mission with night vision goggles.
Scared Of The Dark launches Sunday 16th April at 9pm on Channel 4.
