PopMaster TV | Series 5 Preview (Channel 4)

Hosted by the legendary Ken Bruce, five contestants go head-to-head to test the depth of their music knowledge over a series of six knockout rounds. The rounds include ‘Intros, Middles and Ends’, ‘Video Gaga’, ‘Pop Years’ and ‘It’s Only Words’, before two players progress to play ‘Original PopMaster’. The winner must then correctly tackle a ‘3 in 10’ if they’re to take home the PopMaster TV gold disc.

The series returns this August, beginning with a celebrity special before continuing with civilian episodes. Famous faces appearing on the celebrity special are: Shaun Ryder; Patsy Kensit; Kelle Bryan; Carol Decker and Dougie Vipond.

Ken Bruce comments, "It's been a joy to see the success of PopMaster TV grow, and I am delighted to be back filming once again. I am very much looking forward to testing the brilliant knowledge of pop music fans everywhere."
