Paddy: The Ride Of My Life | Preview (BBC One)
Join BBC Radio 2’s Paddy McGuinness every pedal of the way on his gruelling 300 mile Ultra Endurance Cycle challenge for BBC Children in Need.
Follow Paddy during his gruelling training, which includes ice baths, padded shorts and tips from cycling icon and pal Sir Chris Hoy. Then join him on the road with exclusive access to the sweat and tears as he crosses the border from Wales to England and then all the way to Scotland on his dream childhood bike, the Raleigh Chopper.
The route takes him from the start line in Wrexham through Flintshire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria, Dumfriesshire and to the finish in Glasgow. The cameras follow him as he endures long miles up and down hills, through villages and towns, and faces whatever weather November throws at him… all the while on two wheels!
When the terrain gets harder and the going gets tough, find out why completing Radio 2’s challenge for Pudsey means so very much for Paddy.
Paddy: The Ride of My Life airs Tuesday 19th November at 8pm on BBC One.
