Narrow Escapes | Series 2 Preview (Channel 4)

The increased episode order of 25x60’ is set to follow more people who have swapped their homes of bricks and mortar for new lives on the water and now call the UK’s canal network home.

In series two we’ll catch up the lives of some of our favourites from series one, including single-boater Emma, new parents Jack and Gabby, mum and daughter duo Carrie and Della and the Gould family who live on board Holly The Café boat, as well as meeting a variety of new faces who also live or work on the waterways.

Narrow Escapes’ recommission comes after a successful first series which received an 8% viewing share at 4pm across the series and was one of Daytime’s top performers on Channel 4 Streaming last year.

Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor for Channel 4, comments: “Narrow Escapes brought so much joy to Channel 4 Daytime and Streaming earlier this year, so I’m thrilled we’re bringing it back for a second, longer run and continuing to work with Heidi and the wonderful team at Bowled Over Media.”

Narrow Escapes returns Monday 5th May at 4pm on Channel 4.
