Juice | Series 2 Preview (BBC Three)

The new series will see Mawaan return as Jamma alongside Russell Tovey as Guy, Nabhaan Rizwan as his brother Issac, Shahnaz Rizwan as their mother Farida, Jeff Mirza as father Saif and Emily Lloyd-Saini as Winnie, plus guests Mark Gatiss (The League of Gentlemen) and Tamara Lawrance (Get Millie Black)

In the new series Jamma’s clowning around has landed him at the heart of a perfect storm: jobless, sofa-surfing and single. When a mysterious stranger offers to unburden him from his clownish ways to win Guy back, Jamma must decide if the risk is worth the reward.

Episode 1: After splitting up with Guy, Jamma is now between jobs and sleeping on Winnie's sofa. But when he unexpectedly sees Guy for the first time in six months at Isaac's pop-up art exhibition, the spark between the exes is undeniable. To Jamma and Guy’s surprise, a handsome stranger takes a special interest in their relationship status.

Episode 2: Guy's double-booked himself, so he asks Jamma to house-sit and let the builder in. Jamma finds Guy's manuscript about exes but discovers he's not included, which sends him into a spiral. Isaac comes over to calm Jamma down, but the pair discover Saif pampering himself in the house. Farida arrives with divorce papers and a new showbiz career to show off about.
