Francis Bourgeois and Chris Harris: We Saved A Train | Preview (Quest)

Mechanical engineer and self-confessed train enthusiast, Francis Bourgeois, changes tracks as he embarks on the toughest project he has ever faced - fulfilling a lifelong dream of restoring a train and taking on the job of getting the wrecked engine back in action.

Joining him on this epic restoration and rail loving journey is his good friend and fellow engineering nerd, Chris Harris. Best known for his love of speed and a finely tuned engine, Chris will bring his expertise, enthusiasm, and no-nonsense approach to help Francis navigate the technical and logistical challenges of restoring a locomotive from scratch.

Francis Bourgeois says: ‘Getting the chance to restore a locomotive is something I have always dreamt about, so the opportunity to actually make it happen, and document the journey, is so exciting. I cannot wait to start this alongside Chris.’

Chris Harris says:  ‘I have no idea what we are letting ourselves in for, but I am so excited for it. It is not every day you get asked to help restore a locomotive, I can’t wait to see where this will take us.’
