It's Christmas in the First Dates restaurant and Fred Sirieix and the team are ready for an unforgettable night of festive flirting. First into the restaurant is Essex barber, Wes.

All he wants this Christmas is someone who is honest and doesn't take themselves too seriously. He's been matched with Chloe, who has a track record for choosing the wrong guys. Seventy-five-year-old retired nurse, Linda, is going on her first date in 16 years and is looking for someone who will make her feel young again.

Her date, Harry, is a furniture maker. They're both re-entering the dating world after losing their partners and Harry's flirting techniques are a little rusty. For maths genius Bobby, love is a numbers game, but they haven't been working in his favour and he has been single for 11 years.

He's been matched with Doctor Rebecca, a quiz enthusiast who has recently had her heart broken. Plus, Cindy and Elan return six years after they met on a date to share some exciting news with Fred and his team.
