CORONATION STREET PREVIEW: WHAT'S IN STORE NEXT WEEK, EPISODE SYNOPSIS REVEALED

A look ahead to next week's episodes of Coronation Street, with a full rundown of each episode.


Monday 1st June 2026

As an anxious Daniel prepares for his return to work, Bertie presents him with a ‘World’s Best Teacher’ mug. In the corridor, Lily taunts Daniel by reading out Truthteller2’s latest posts. When she purposely bashes into Daniel, he’s gutted to find his new mug smashed to pieces and breaks down in tears.



Jake films on his phone. Daniel barrels into the Rovers on a mission to get drunk but when Adam bans Sean from serving him, Daniel storms out. Spotting Megan in the precinct, Daniel lets rip at her for ruining his life. Is Megan in danger? 


Lisa tells Todd she’s interviewed Danielle. In the visiting room, a distressed Summer reveals to Todd that she’s considering pleading guilty to manslaughter as it seems her only option. Todd’s heartbroken for her as he opens up to Sarah. Todd asks Lisa if he can have his phone back from the police now but her response floors Todd. 


In the pub, Carl sidles over to Tyrone and tells him he can see fear in his eyes, it’s obvious he’s hiding something and he intends to find out what it is. Idris calls at Speed Daal and flirts unashamedly with Leanne, suggesting they have another night out. When Alya warns her she’s playing with fire, will Leanne agree? Idris tells Alya that he’d like her to look after his legal affairs.



Tuesday 2nd June 2026

Daniel checks his laptop for further vile posts, as Jodie makes a throw away remark, he realises with horror that she’s his troll. Daniel rounds on Jodie, fuming about how she’s caused him sleepless nights, paranoia and depression whilst acting as his confidante. Jodie swears that Truthteller2 has nothing to do with her but Daniel throws her out. Drunk in the Rovers, Daniel announces that Jodie is his online stalker.


Feigning tears, Jodie hurries out. Back home Bertie says he’s starving, but too drunk to care Daniel falls asleep on the sofa. As Bertie sets about making his own tea, smoke pours from the kitchen and he dashes out leaving Daniel dead to the world. As Bertie wanders the streets, has Daniel’s negligence left them both in danger? 


After a row with Shona, Jodie offers an ear. When she reminds him about the time he climbed into bed with her and claims he even said her name, so must have known it was her, David’s floored. As he makes up with Shona will a guilt-stricken David come clean? 



Lisa moans to Carla about her new boss and how she’s happy to let Summer take the rap for Theo’s murder without looking further afield. At Alya’s insistence, Adam agrees to look over Idris’s files with a view to taking him on as client.


Wednesday 3rd June 2026

Daniel is woken by a call from school informing him that Bertie hasn’t turned up. As Daniel takes in his surroundings, he realises with horror that there’s no sign of Bertie. Where is Daniel and is Bertie safe? As Adam and Daniel go at each other hammer and tongs over his irresponsible parenting, Adam references Sinead and Daniel loses it. Lashing out he accidentally catches Ken and sends him staggering. 


As Jodie makes a veiled dig at David about saying her name, David squirms. David shares his worries with Maria. Maria advises him to come clean with Shona and tell her how Jodie reckons he called her by name. Will David take her advice? 


Brody’s doing well working for Idris. When Dylan makes a dig about the fact he used to steal cars for Carl, Leanne earwigs, unimpressed. Leanne grills Idris about the work he’s giving Brody, concerned it might be something dodgy. 



With Todd’s phone having been found at a pawn shop, Lisa orders it to be sent to Forensics. Debbie asks Glenda if she’ll take over the dementia choir when it becomes too much for her. Glenda tells her it would be a privilege.


Thursday 4th June 2026

Tracy spells out to Ken and Adam that Daniel isn’t fit to look after himself and they need to do something about it. Daniel calls at No.1 hoping to smooth things over with Ken but he’s put out when he insists that Adam and Tracy be a part of the discussion too. When Ken suggests that he’s heading down the same alcoholic path as Peter, Daniel storms out. When social services then arrive on his doorstep Daniel’s horrified. 


Lisa arrives and arrests Brody on suspicion of theft. Sally and Tim watch in shock as Lisa leads a protesting Brody to her car, after Forensics found his fingerprints all over Todd’s phone. Kit listens with concern. Can Brody explain himself or is he in the frame for Theo’s murder? 


At the salon Maria reveals that Sarah has forgotten Bethany’s birthday. Gary leaps to Sarah’s defence and Maria’s taken aback. The family later gather at the bistro for Bethany’s birthday party but as Jodie bangs on about Theo’s murder, the atmosphere is ruined. 



Fiz invites Sam round, hoping he and Hope will rekindle their friendship and she’ll forget about Will. But Hope refuses to have tea with Sam and asserts she’s going out with Will. How will Sam react as his mind plays tricks on him? 


Coronation Street continues weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
