CORONATION STREET PREVIEW: WHAT'S IN STORE NEXT WEEK, EPISODE SYNOPSIS REVEALED

A look ahead to next week's episodes of Coronation Street, with a full rundown of each episode.

Monday 25th May 2026

In the café, Will’s shocked as Sam confronts him, telling him he's evil and wishing him dead. An emotional Ben voices his fears to Eva that Megan has ruined Will's life. Devastated by what he hears, Will climbs high up on the shop yard scaffolding, swigging vodka. Spotting him Asha texts Maggie for help, while Hope runs to the Rovers. Maggie climbs up to Will and gives him a pep talk, urging him to take back control of his life. As the Driscolls hold their breath, can Maggie talk Will down? Unseen by the family, Megan watches on. 

George and Christina attempt to bury the hatchet with Todd but he gives them short shrift. With Mary also failing a reconciliation attempt, Todd announces he’s moving in with Sarah. 

A stressed Daniel tells Ken that Bertie’s being bullied as a result of the vile social media posts and he intends to confront Truthteller. In the flat, Jodie reads Daniel’s furious reply to the post. When Daniel enters and demands to know what she is looking at, will Jodie own up? 

Leanne gives Dylan and Betsy a trial shift at Speed Daal but explains there’s only one vacancy and it’s up to each of them to prove themselves. Who will get the job? 

Tuesday 26th May 2026

Brody heads off for a run, while a young lad, Damo, scrambles out of a car. As Brody works a temp shift at Speed Daal, a group of rowdy business men cause trouble, dropping a plate of curry over Brody’s trainers. Suddenly, Idris appears, swiftly takes charge, demands cash for the trainers and throws the men out.

Alya pulls Idris in for a hug and Leanne recognises him as Kal’s cousin. Adam takes an instant dislike to Idris as he reveals he’s bought a property agency in Manchester and Brody asks for a job. Away from view, Idris grabs Damo and steers him into the ginnel. What is Idris up to and how is he connected to Damo? 

Hope reveals to Will that she saw him with Megan, urging him to tell his Dad. As Will picks up his coat, a note flutters out of his pocket. Will sees that it’s Megan’s new mobile number, what will he do? Sarah calls Kit in Glasgow and leaves him a message telling him that Todd is staying for a few days and to hurry home as she misses him. 

Danielle pays for Theo’s funeral flowers. Tracy speculates Danielle must be in line for a decent inheritance, George suggests a motive for murder. Could George be right? Daniel tells Jodie that he’s reported the trolling to the police and they’re going to investigate. 

Wednesday 27th May 2026

Unable to sleep, Daniel scrolls through all the vile posts. Jodie points out that Truthteller doesn’t appear to have posted for a while and it would seem other trolls have jumped on the bandwagon. As Daniel approaches No.1, he is ambushed by two lads who pelt him with paint and hurl insults, filming his reaction as he threatens to kill them. Daniel’s rage explodes in Speed Daal when he sees Idris laughing at the footage. 

Idris offers Brody his first job and explains that he’s renting a flat in the precinct, the previous tenant did a runner and the place needs a good clear out. As Alya, Adam and Idris celebrate Eid, Alya suggests Idris might like to stay with them. Will Idris accept? 

Todd takes a call and receives shocking news. As Hope suggests to Will that they revise together, Ruby tells Fiz and Tyrone that Hope fancies Will. Fiz advises Hope not to get involved Jodie’s put out when Roy informs her she’s no longer required because Shona has decided to return to work. 

Thursday 28th May 2026

Todd tells Sarah that he won’t be attending Theo’s funeral. Danielle publicly accuses Todd of murdering Theo for his life insurance. When Mary comes to Todd’s defence and suggests she perhaps murdered Theo herself, Danielle leaves. Ryan follows Danielle out and reveals he recognises her from the murder night! 

As a thug threatens Leanne and she sends him packing, Idris is impressed. Idris invites Leanne for a drink in the Rovers and as they bond, Idris leans in for a kiss. Is love on the cards for Leanne? 

Ken urges Daniel to take another holiday to clear his head but Daniel admits that he never went, but hid in his flat with only Jodie for support. Ken is shocked, asserting Bertie deserves better from his Dad. Will and Hope set about their English revision, unaware that Eva is earwigging from the hall. When Hope likens the carnage of Will’s love life to that of Romeo and Juliet, Will laughs and Eva’s pleased to hear them getting on. But when Fiz shows up, how will she feel? 

Friday 29th May 2026

Tensions run high as one witness lies to the police about their movements on the night of the murder. A dark secret is finally revealed through a series of flashbacks, showing exactly what this person saw and did, and the complex web of guilt and fear that has led to them concealing the truth. 

Alya is shocked when Leanne admits to kissing Idris and gives her a warning to steer well clear. As Idris heads down the street, he flirts with Tracy. Will Leanne listen to Alya or could she be heading for heartache? 

Daniel looks up from his phone and tells Jodie that Truthteller has deleted all their nasty posts and it would seem they’ve disappeared. He gathers Ken, Tracy, Alya and Jodie to celebrate in the Bistro, but is it really the end? Ryan voices his suspicions about Danielle to Lisa, who takes her in for questioning. Could Danielle be the new prime suspect?
