Sunday 7th June 2026
Kit quizzes Gary about Todd’s phone. Gary feigns ignorance. Kit tells Lisa that Gary definitely knows more than he’s letting on and he intends to get to the bottom of it. Todd takes a call from the prison informing that Summer’s been admitted to hospital. When Summer admits that she switched off her insulin pump and made herself ill because she can’t cope with life in prison, Todd’s horrified. As Todd relays this to his friends in the Rovers, will someone be able to mask their guilt?
A nervous Daniel shows the social worker in. Daniel apologises to Adam and Alya and tells them he appreciates their help and he’s pretty sure he knows who called social services.
When David can’t find Harper’s five month milestone card they end up missing her photo shoot at the hospital. Shona’s gutted and back home David accuses Jodie of stealing the card.
Will confides in Hope that he’s considering giving up athletics as it reminds him of Megan. Hope tells Will that if he gives up then not only is he letting Megan control him but he’s allowing her to stifle his talent. Sam watches them, his mind in overdrive
Monday 9th June
Carl tells Tyrone that he’s having flashbacks of the night he was injured and knows it took place in the garage. Shaken, and tormented by Summer’s situation (knowing he could prove her innocence), Tyrone unburdens himself to Fiz and reveals that he saw Summer the night of Theo’s murder, he knows she’s not guilty but lied to the police to save his own skin.
Tyrone tells Fiz how he found Carl tampering with the brakes on Kevin’s car, he filmed it on his phone but inadvertently knocked the car jack, causing it to crush Carl. Fiz orders Tyrone to hand over his phone. What will they do with the footage?
Sam imagines he hears Roy urging him to take control and rid himself of Will once and for all. When Sam asserts that he’s not a violent person, Roy accuses him of cowardice and declares their friendship over. Will Sam act?
David spoils Shona with a romantic meal and presents her with a gift box containing Harper’s ultrasound photos, her hospital bracelet and a onesie for her return. Will David be forgiven? Asha, Nina and Todd visit Summer in hospital. Summer breaks down as she admits she’s dreading going back to prison.
Wednesday 10th June 2026
Kit’s suspicions are aroused once more as he watches hushed conversations. Have they charged the right person in Summer? Maria tries to hide her unease, as she worries about her relationship in light of Gary’s recent behaviour. As Kit marks Gary’s card, making it clear he’s watching him, does Maria have something to be worried about?
When Sam makes a reference to the incident with Will yesterday, Roy’s mystified but Sam fails to notice his reaction. Will tells Hope he’s had a text from an old running friend from Hull who wants to meet up. But as Will waits for Lee, Megan approaches and Will realises he’s been duped. What does she want from him. Jodie joins the Platts for Lily’s celebratory tea after she wins ‘Player of the Year’ trophy.
Friday 12th June 2026
As Sam envisions Roy at his side and in his ear he heads to the Rovers where he finds Will alone in the back room. While Will’s engrossed in a shooting game, Sam hears Roy warning him that Will is going to kill him too. As Sam flees, a concerned Will goes after him. Sam dashes into the cafe and locks the door behind him.
bangs on the door while inside Roy finds Sam in a terrible state. Sam reels at the sight of him, totally thrown by the fact he can see two versions of Roy; the real Roy and the vision Roy. As Nick, Toyah and Leanne gather outside, begging Sam to let them in, could Roy be in danger from an increasingly distressed Sam?
As the search continues for Sam, Carla spots him in the precinct. Noticing the fear on Sam’s face, Carla does her best to reassure him whilst reaching for her phone. Having called Nick, Carla tries to pacify an agitated Sam, but when Nick and David appear he makes a run for it. Deeply upset, Carla explains she thinks he’s suffering from psychosis.
Kit calls Lisa, telling her that to his mind, Gary is their prime suspect. As a despondent Maria waits for Gary in Speed Dahl, she confides in Shona that things haven’t been right between them for a while. Are Maria’s worst fears about to be realised?
Gary apologises to Maria for standing her up last night, but he’s interrupted by the arrival of Kit and Lisa. When Lisa explains they’d like Maria to go over her statement again, Gary’s rattled. What have they got on him? Christina, Glenda and Sally surprise Debbie, revealing they’re taking her on holiday to Spain.
