Following the dramatic highs and lows of the jumps jockeys, the second series will go behind the scenes of the jumps season – including the battle for the £500,000 David Power Jockeys’ Cup – capturing the intense drama like never seen before.

With the stakes as high as ever, millions of pounds up for grabs and jockey’s reputations on the line, the series will follow every twist and turn of the jumps season. The programme provides viewers with an access all areas backstage pass to the biggest events in the racing year, including the iconic Cheltenham Festival and the famous Randox Grand National.
Cameras will once again gain exclusive access to series one favourites including Harry Cobden, Sean Bowen, Harry and Dan Skelton, and Paul Nicholls, plus a host of new faces, colourful personalities and vibrant characters – such as teenage sensation Freddie Gingell – as they all compete in the 2024/25 season.
Episode One - ‘New Kid on the Block’
The winter jumps season bursts into action at Cheltenham’s iconic November Meeting. Rival jockeys Harry Cobden, Nico de Boinville, Sean Bowen, and Harry Skelton begin their battle in the all-new David Power Jockey Cup, a league-format showdown with a staggering half a million pounds prize money up for grabs.
Emotions run high as rising star Freddie Gingell, grandson of Gold Cup-winning trainer Colin Tizzard, steps into the spotlight as Paul Nicholls' new number two. Meanwhile, Harry Skelton returns to the saddle with fresh motivation after becoming a father, determined to help his brother Dan topple racing titans Paul Nicholls and Willie Mullins in the Trainers’ Championship. With tensions high and ambitions even higher, the race for jump racing’s richest prize begins.
Episode Two - 'The Comeback'
It’s Boxing Day at Kempton, and the stage is set for a Christmas showdown like no other. A sold-out crowd roars with anticipation as two of jump racing’s biggest stars prepare to face off in the Christmas Hurdle: the unbeaten Constitution Hill, and brilliant Irish mare Lossiemouth.
The build-up has been intense. Constitution Hill hasn’t raced in over a year after a mystery illness sidelined him, but behind the media storm, legendary trainer Nicky Henderson, known as ‘The Guvnor’, believes his superstar is ready to silence the doubters. In the saddle, two of the best go head-to-head: England’s big-race rider Nico de Boinville and Irish maestro Paul Townend, last season’s Grand National and Gold Cup winner. Who will triumph?
After the Christmas Hurdle, Townend sets his sights on the King George VI Chase, aiming to complete the elusive Grand Slam, winning the four most prestigious jump races in a single calendar year. The stage is set for high stakes, superb drama, and festive fireworks.
Champions: Full Gallop returns Friday 17th October at 10:45pm on ITV1.
