Britain's Got Talent Reacts | Preview (ITVX)

Thames (a Fremantle label), the production team behind ITV’s juggernaut, Britain’s Got Talent, announced a brand-new spin off show, BGT Reacts, which will air exclusively on ITVX.



Viewers will watch highlights of the brand-new series through the eyes of some of the UK’s biggest content creators, who will be sharing their thoughts and opinions on the brave acts taking to the stage, in a bid to impress the judges. The content creators will be joined by some notable acts from former series of Britain’s Got Talent and a few surprise celebrities along the way.

 



BGT Reacts will be a celebration of the ‘react’ style of video that has recently dominated social media across the globe and will be packed full of zany humour and hilarious reactions to the brilliant auditions from this new series.

 

Six 15-minute episodes will drop on ITVX, each week, straight after the transmission of the main show on ITV1.

We can’t wait to amplify this viewer engagement through brand new ITVX series BGT Reacts, working with some of the UK’s most successful influencers and content creators - all big fans of Britain’s Got Talent.”

 

The 17th series of Britain’s Got Talent, set to air in the spring, will see a whole new host of talented contestants showcase their skills in front of judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.




 

The winner of the show, decided by the Great British public, will be win a life changing £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill on the Royal Variety Performance.

 

BGT Reacts is Executive Produced by Pete Cornes and Jamie Crossan, Head of Digital at Thames. It was commissioned by Lily Wilson, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment at ITV.

 

BGT Reacts will drop on ITVX every week, during the brand-new series of Britain’s Got Talent, which will return on Saturday 20th April at 7:30pm, ITV1 and ITVX.
