The much-loved and warm-hearted series Bangers and Cash returns for a fourteenth series, once again following the Mathewson family, a team of passionate classic car auctioneers based in a picturesque North Yorkshire village.

Led by Derek Mathewson, the family continues to uncover, assess, and sell a wide range of vintage vehicles, each with its own history and charm. From rare barn finds to cherished classics, the series captures the excitement of discovering automotive treasures and bringing them to auction.

Alongside the business, viewers are treated to humour, family dynamics, and the day-to-day realities of the trade. Series 14 promises more remarkable cars, emotional stories, and a deeper look into the enduring appeal of classic motoring and the people dedicated to preserving it.

In the first episode, Derek’s on a Home Counties triple pickup for a 1968 Mini Moke that’s been in the family from new, an unusual Amphicar 770 and a Polish Fiat 216. Charlie’s caught the whiff of a bargain with a mouldy Vauxhall VX490 and Dave’s reminiscing over a Yahama RD500.
