In the second series, Michael Theo returns as the straight-talking Austin. Beloved UK performers Ben Miller (Bridgerton, Death in Paradise) and Sally Phillips (Veep, Bridget Jones’s Diary), along with favourite Australian actors Gia Carides (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Big Little Lies) and Roy Billing (Jack Irish, Underbelly) also reprise their roles.

As we enter season two, Austin’s (Michael Theo) publishing career takes off when “Game Of Scones: Doing Britain On The Spectrum” is picked by an international publisher.
As his fame among the bespoke travelling readers grows, he falls under the professional spell of his new agent, and to the horror of his family breaks bad - behaving in a manner unbefitting his true self.
Episode 1: Austin and Julian’s DNA test results show that Julian isn’t Austin’s dad after all. While grappling with the news, the gang visits the DNA match in Northampton.
Episode 2: Austin searches for his 'British origin story', while Julian and Ingrid pitch their Big Bear TV show. Julian realises the industry still sees him as radioactive.
Episode 3: Austin misreads a dinner as a date, Julian battles a book title, and Ingrid debates betraying their motto 'No pair, no bear'.
Episode 4: Austin battles cultural branding, Ingrid wrangles her new star, and Julian accidentally talks their Big Bear actor into quitting.

Episode 6: After appearing on a controversial podcast and getting Haley fired, Austin faces a family intervention. Meanwhile, Ingrid is auditioning the whole of Canberra to find an actor to play Big Bear before she loses the show. The last audition, a late entry, may be the one.
Episode 7: Austin follows a rom-com manual to woo Haley, Ingrid flirts with Big Bear, and a kiss leads to disaster when the bear's head comes off – literally.
Episode 8: Ingrid quits Big Bear, Austin cancels fame, Mel races to stop a resignation, and Haley might be 'The One'. All roads lead to Thunder Thursday and one gloriously chaotic Canberra bus ride.
Austin returns Friday 10th July at 10:40pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
