Around The World In 80 Weighs | Preview (Channel 4)

Mothership Productions have been commissioned by Channel 4 to make a 6x60 format exploring the global obesity crisis.

This warm – but shocking - series will involve Brits who want to lose weight travelling the world to better understand the relationship between food, culture and body size, and in the process see if they can lose weight along the way. 

Alisa Pomeroy,  Head of Documentaries said: “Global obesity is one of the unseen world-wide crises of our time, and we are delighted to be working with Mothership on their first commission for Documentaries,  tackling such an important topic.”

Around The World In 80 Weighs begins Tuesday 16th January at 9pm on Channel 4.
