The landmark documentary series that captures real life drama at its most intense, following police detectives around the clock as they investigate major crimes, returns for a two-part special which has been four years in the making.



This two-part special tells the inside story of the case of a 17-year-old boy was left critically injured on the roadside after suffering catastrophic head injuries. At first it looks like a hit and run, but it quickly becomes obvious there's something out of the ordinary.



As police try to identify the victim, it is discovered that two 17- year-olds who are twins are currently listed as missing on the national missing persons database.


24 Hours In Police Custody airs Sunday 30th August and Sunday 6th September at 9pm on Channel 4.
