Our picks of what to watch during the week ahead.

HANDCUFFED: LAST PAIR STANDING

Monday-Tuesday, Channel 4

The couples will be handcuffed together through thick and thin, as they navigate eating, dressing and even sleeping just inches apart. Shackled around the clock, the pairs will be sent on a road trip across our beautiful nation, in the hope they find common ground along the way.

If a pair can last longest chained together, they’ll be in the running for a £100,000 jackpot – but if it proves too much and they demand to be unchained, their shot at the jackpot is gone. Drawn from across the UK, the couples will represent the wide range of views and opinions found in modern Britain.

 YOUNG SHERLOCK

Wednesday, Prime Video

From visionary director Guy Ritchie, Young Sherlock is an irreverent, action-packed mystery that charts the legendary origin story of the world’s greatest detective. When a charismatic, youthfully defiant Sherlock Holmes meets none other than James Moriarty he finds himself dragged into a murder investigation that threatens his liberty.

Sherlock's first ever case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy, leading to an explosive showdown that alters the course of his life forever. Unfolding in a vibrant Victorian England and adventuring abroad, the series will expose the early antics of the anarchic adolescent who is yet to evolve into Baker Street’s most renowned resident.

 CRUFTS

Thursday, Channel 4

Claudia Winkleman is to join Clare Balding and the team to present live coverage of the world’s most famous dog show, Crufts, when it returns to Channel 4 on Thursday 5th March. Regular Crufts reporter Radzi Chinyanganya returns, alongside Paralympic champion swimmer Ellie Simmonds who is back for a second year in the halls of Birmingham’s NEC to present features and interviews and discover the latest news from the biggest dog show in the world.

 WINTER PARALYMPICS

Friday, Channel 4

The Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games begin on Friday 6th March, conclude on Sunday 15th March and mark the first Winter Paralympics in a UK-friendly time zone in 20 years. Over the 10-day event, coverage starts at breakfast time and follows the live action throughout the day, with daily highlights each evening at 6:30pm. As well as broadcasting on Channel 4, every televised moment of the Winter Paralympics will also stream on Channel 4 Sport’s YouTube channel.

 TED

Friday, Sky One

It’s 1994, and senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likable but awkward John Bennett. Together they live in a working-class Boston home with John's parents (Matty and Susan) and cousin (Blaire).

Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house and frequently clashes with his liberal niece. Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives.

 THE CAPTURE

Sunday, BBC One

It’s been 12 months since Rachel Carey broadcast a live deepfake of a government minister to the nation, exposing the UK intelligence service’s clandestine video manipulation programme known as Correction.

Amidst an inquiry into the unlawful use of Correction, Carey has become Acting Commander of Counter Terrorism Command, determined to regain the public’s trust in surveillance technology through the new Operation Veritas camera system.

And then it happens: a brutal and exceptionally well-coordinated act of terror aimed right at the heart of the British establishment that leaves behind just one witness.

 GONE

Sunday, ITV1

Inscrutable headmaster MICHAEL POLLY returns home one afternoon to find his wife SARAH missing. As the hours roll on, he reports her disappearance to DS ANNIE CASSIDY, a no-nonsense detective who is immediately perplexed by the apparent stoicism of the headmaster. As the case escalates with the emergence of puzzling evidence, Annie is assigned the role of Family Liaison Officer. News of the disappearance spreads despite Michael’s concerted efforts to contain it; his commitment to the rugby team he coaches, remains unwavering.
