Celebrity MasterChef
Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook-Off fizzes back with another seriously yummy helping of festive cheer. The guest list includes celebrities that are firmly positioned at the top of their showbiz trees: reality TV star GK Barry, award-winning actor and all-round top boy Kola Bokinni, BBC disability correspondent and TV presenter Nikki Fox, and stand-up comic, who is also the excitable voice of Love Island, Iain Stirling.
Amanda & Alan's Spanish Christmas
Best friends Amanda and Alan return to Spain in the festive season for a one-off Christmas special. They’re back in the village of Moclin, where they spent a long, hot summer turning an old wreck into a dreamy B&B. Before they put the house on the market, they want to throw one final party to say thank you to all their friends who helped them with the project.
Reuniting with some old faces, Amanda and Alan reveal that they want to celebrate an Anglo-Spanish Christmas, which will culminate in them hosting a big feast at their Moclin home. Keen to learn what local festive traditions they can adopt, Alan suspects it will be a unique experience, while Amanda warns there will be a couple of their own British traditions thrown in for good measure.
Festive House Of Games
In this special festive edition, celebrity contestants Mathew Baynton, Mel Giedroyc, Harriet Kemsley and Charles Venn take on a series of rounds selected by the host, quiz legend Richard Osman.
A daily winner is declared following a quick-fire round at the end of each show, and the scores are tallied across the week, resulting in an overall champion being awarded the House of Games Festive Trophy on Friday.
Celebrity Mastermind
Clive Myrie asks the questions in this celebrity edition of the classic quiz as four famous faces brave the black chair and donate to their chosen charity.
Only Connect
Victoria Coren Mitchell hosts the quiz where knowledge only gets you so far – the vital extra ingredients are logic and lateral thinking. Once again, there’s a place in the semi-finals on offer, with two teams facing ever more testing questions, such as: 19/2=50, 10/4=100, 30/5=150… what would come fourth in this sequence?
Top Toys Of All Time
The documentary celebrates the greatest toys of all time and features father/daughter Jonathan Ross and Honey and mother/son Alison Hammond and Aidan and best friends, comedians Lou Sanders and Harriet Kemsley. They're given exclusive after-hours access to run wild in the iconic Regent Street toy shop in London, reliving the excitement of playing with beloved toys from their childhoods.
Taskmaster: Champion Of Champions
The five former champs greedy for more glory are: Andy Zaltzman, John Robins, Maisie Adam, Mathew Baynton and Sam Campbell, all of whom have made startling costume choices for their tilt at immortality. The fiendish tasks they attempt will of course be administrated by the world’s most efficient assistant, Alex Horne, while Greg Davies will hand down the judgements that will decide the fate of this fantastic fivesome.
Mammoth
It’s Tony Mammoth’s first Christmas since coming back from the dead, and he’s determined to make it a special one with his family. Through his own thoughtlessness and selfishness, he’s on the brink of ruining Christmas for himself and those around him. Meanwhile, Mel tries to contain her anger towards a perfectly nice woman at the homeless shelter, and love is in the air for Theo.
