Joel Dommett has been confirmed as host the 2024 National Television Awards, which take place on Wednesday 11th September at the O2 Arena in London.

Celebrating everything from beloved primetime shows on scheduled TV to stand out hits on streaming services, these truly are the people’s awards where viewers’ opinion counts and their favourites take home the prizes.

Joel Dommett said: "I’m returning to host the biggest awards show in television.

So much to look forward to, so many awards, so many faces. It’s gonna be huge. The TV Expert category is back –one of my faves – and I am back – one of my mum’s faves. Keep your eyes peeled for the vote opening – and make it count."

Meanwhile, earlier this year it was confirmed that King Of The Jungle Sam Thompson and reality star best mate Pete Wicks will be reprising their roles as the NTA Red Carpet reporters for this year's ceremony.

Sam Thompson said: "It's an absolute honour to have been asked to be the official Red Carpet hosts for the NTAs and there's no-one I'd rather do it with than my best friend Pete. I'll definitely be grabbing Ant & Dec for a chat!"

Pete Wicks added: "From fighting our way into boxes full of celebs at the NTAs for the past decade, to being the official Red Carpet hosts – things are looking up! But on a serious note we're thrilled to have been asked and know it's going to be a great night."

More details and nominees will be announced in due course.
