FRANKIE BOYLE'S NEW WORLD ORDER AXED BY BBC AFTER SIX SERIES

Frankie Boyle's New World Order has been axed after six series on BBC Two, it's been confirmed.

The show features Frankie at his brilliant best as he tackles the biggest issues troubling the planet. Over the series, Frankie makes a string of bold and often outrageous statements which he’ll then pick apart with the help of a variety of comic guests.

A BBC spokesperson told British Comedy Guide: "We would like to thank Frankie Boyle and all those involved for six great series of New World Order, and we look forward to seeing what he does next on the BBC."

Frankie wrote on Twitter: "Ah well, there’s to be no more New World Order on the BBC. Not surprising in the current climate, I suppose. Just very grateful to have had six series of working with the funniest people in the business."

Previous episodes are available on BBC iPlayer.
