The BBC has released first look images and announced further casting for Marble Hall Murders, an adaptation of the third and final instalment in best-selling novelist Anthony Horowitz's Susan Ryeland series.

Returning in the lead roles are Academy Award-nominee Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread, The Crown) as book editor turned sleuth Susan Ryeland and Tim McMullan (The Crown, Patrick Melrose, The Serpent) as famous literary detective Atticus Pünd.
Joining them are Jamie Blackley (Outrageous, The Last Kingdom), Mark Bonnar (Ludwig, Guilt, Dept. Q), Daniel Cerqueira (This City is Ours, A Gentleman in Moscow), Patricia Hodge (All Creatures Great and Small, A Very English Scandal), Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones, I Jack Wright), Rupert Penry-Jones (Whitechapel, Spooks), Anneika Rose (Crossfire, Line of Duty), Danny Sapani (Killing Eve, Harlots, Halo) and Zubin Varla (Andor, A Little Life).
Marble Hall Murders is adapted from the third and final novel in Horowitz’s Susan Ryeland series, published in 2025. Editor Susan Ryeland is hired to work on a continuation novel of the Atticus Pünd series, written by a troubled young author (Blackley).
When the job leads Susan into another murder case, she unexpectedly finds herself a suspect. In the world of the novel, Atticus Pünd is visiting the island of Corfu when he becomes embroiled in the murder of Lady Margaret Chalfont (Hodge), whose family he investigates with the assistance of a Greek detective (Varla).
Marble Hall Murders will air on BBC One and iPlayer.
