LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: TUESDAY 18 JUNE 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

GRACE AND JOEY HEAD FOR THE HIDEAWAY

As night falls over the Villa, Grace and Joey hatch their plan to stay in the Hideaway overnight.

Foreseeing a backlash from the Islanders, Grace advises Joey to let Samantha know first. 

Grace says: “When you all get in bed and you don’t turn up and someone says, oh yeah, he’s in the Hideaway with Grace, she’ll be more pissed off tomorrow. Even though it’s an awkward one just be like I’m not going to stay in the bed tonight, I’ll let you know I am going in the Hideaway with Grace. It’s awkward and it’s weird to let her know but you’ve done the right thing.”

Pulling Samantha for a chat, Joey says: “I want to let you know I’m gonna stay in the Hideaway with Grace.”

Samantha says: “I’ve seen you kissing over there before…bit out of order, don’t you think? I’ve just been crying in there two hours ago and then you are kissing on the daybed.”

With everything out in the open, Grace and Joey head for the Hideaway. 

HARRIETT GOES TO TIFFANY FOR ANSWERS

As Harriett continues to get mixed messages from Ronnie, she decides Tiffany will give her the answers she is seeking. 

Grace says: “I was just wondering how your chat was with Ronnie? Obviously I am coupled up with him, so I want to know what he’s saying to you and what he’s saying to you…”

Tiffany says: “He did say to me over there that if there was a recoupling he would choose me.”

Harriett says: “What is wrong with him? Do you know what I mean though? He doesn’t know you…I just feel like he’s probably going to do this with every single girl.”

Ronnie walks over to join the girls as Joey says: “That’s a triangle, right there!”

Has Ronnie joined the conversation at the wrong time? As Harriett is not shy in telling him exactly how she feels. 

JESS AND NICOLE GIVE SAMANTHA SOME GIRL POWER

It’s a new day in the Villa as Jess and Nicole provide support for their girl Samantha over some breakfast. 

Jess says: “Samantha, I am sick to death of you not remembering who you are”, as she declares Samantha a “boss bitch.”

As they sit down to eat, Jess says: “Hold hands. Remember why we are here. Remember why we are boss bitches and remember why we don’t let mid-level entry men take the piss out of us and make us feel less worthy than we are.”

It’s giving girl power.

THE BOMBSHELLS TAKE CONTROL OF THE RECOUPLING

The three new arrivals have caused a stir since the moment they walked into the Villa. 

Tonight they have the power and choose who they want to couple up with for the first time.

Getting ready for the night ahead, the Islanders receive a text. Wil reads: “Islanders, Tonight there will be a recoupling in which the boys will choose which girl they want to couple up with. As the new arrivals Grace, Wil and Tiffany will have first choice.”

Who will the new arrivals choose? And will the new couples cause a rumble in the Villa?
