LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: FULL RUNDOWN FOR TONIGHT'S EPISODE, WEDNESDAY 01st JULY 2026

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 and ITVX, here's a full rundown of tonight's episode...

THE SECRET SELFIE CHALLENGE SENDS SHOCKWAVES THROUGH THE VILLA

With emotions still running high after the girls received photos from the Secret Selfie Challenge, some Islanders are left with more questions than answers when it comes to the boys’ antics over in Casa Amor.

After receiving the selfie of Kavan kissing Charleen in the Villa, the girls gather on the Daybeds to discuss what he might have been up to and give Jasmine some comforting words.

“The first time you’re out of sight out of mind he’s gone and done that.”Yasmin explains.

Angelista agrees,“He’s in jail and we’ve thrown away the key.”

Jasmine confides in the girls:“This was for him to prove to me… He was the one who called the break and I said that’s not what I wanted and I fought for it.”

Mica agrees, saying,“He is just fumbling the baddest girl in the world.”

Will Jasmine be able to move past this huge revelation, or is this the end of the road for her and Kavan?

A SHOCK TEXT LEAVES THE ISLANDERS FACING A BIG DECISION

As both Villas settle into the evening, a shock text announces that the moment they’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived.

Reading the message aloud in Casa Amor, Kavan reveals:

’Boys, tonight there will be a recoupling in which you must decide whether you want to remain coupled up with your girl back in the Villa, or recouple with one of the new girls.’

The reality of the situation quickly sinks in. Samraj declares,“The school trip is over”, Simba realises he has a huge decision to make and Kavan is left sitting in stunned silence.

Back at the Villa, Mica also receives a text which reads:

‘Girls, tonight there will be a recoupling in which you must decide whether you want to remain coupled up with your partner who has been living in Casa Amor, or recouple with one of the new boys.’

As screams erupt around the Villa, Ellie jokes:

“We’re going to get the tea, we’re going to get the receipts.”

While Mica admits she’s missed Samraj, Angelisareveals,“I don’t know with that man, I can’t sit and vouch for him”

With huge revelations on the horizon, Ellie predicts:

“I fear tonight it’s going to kick off with a good few people…”

But as the countdown to the recoupling begins, the big question remains: whose connections have stayed strong, and who has found themselves drawn to someone new?

MAYA JAMA RETURNS AS THE BOYS HEAD BACK TO THE VILLA

Maya Jama returns to the Villa as she prepares to reveal the outcome of Casa Amor and the Islanders discover which relationships have survived the ultimate test.

Standing before Maya, Lola reflects on her time apart from Sean, admitting,“I’ve missed him so much and it’s made me realise how much I do miss him.”

But when Sean returns from Casa Amor, will he be standing alone?

As one Islander's confidence in her partner is shaken, she admits,“I’m not sure if he moves as respectfully as me, I don’t feel confident.”

Angelista reflects on where things stood before Casa Amor, telling Maya,“Before Casa we were in a really good place, everyone could see it and feel it”

But are those feelings enough to survive the biggest test so far?

As each Islander makes their choice, tensions rise as one Islander tells another“Respect? Don’t even use that word”, while another is left absolutely"livid."
