LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: FULL RUNDOWN FOR TONIGHT'S EPISODE, TUESDAY 16th JUNE 2026

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 and ITVX, here's a full rundown of tonight's episode...

LOLA SPEAKS HER MIND AFTER PRIYA’S BIG REVEAL

After a day of grafting and exploring connections, the Islanders retreat to their beds, allowing the couples a moment for private chats before they settle down for some well-deserved beauty sleep.

Aidan and Yasmin attempt to clear the air, however, Aidan finds himself in hot water when he accidentally refers to Yasmin as Ellie… again.

Elsewhere, despite Lorenzo locking lips with Yasmin earlier that day - and Priya making her feelings known about kissing two people in the same day - the pair share a secret snog.

The following morning in the Dressing Room, Priya reveals the details of their late-night encounter while the girls prepare for the day ahead. Lola is quick to deliver Priya some home truths.

“It’s a bit sh*t of Lorenzo, to be fair” she says. “But I do think that it’s double standards from you too.”

“I did think that,” Priya admits. “But you know when something just happens?”

“I think it’s just a bit insensitive,” Lola continues.

Before the morning has even hit its stride, one Islander is left in tears. 

A SHOCK RECOUPLING SHAKES THINGS UP 

Later, Aidan receives a text that is guaranteed to shake things up amongst the Islanders.

‘Could all Islanders gather round the Fire Pit immediately.’

There, Priya receives another, ‘Islanders, today there will be a recoupling in which the girls will choose which boy they want to couple up with.’

The boys line up at the Fire Pit, nervous as they prepare to hear where they stand and the reasons behind the girls' decisions. 

Lola is the first to stand, admitting that her chosen boy is “perfection” in her eyes. One by one, the remaining girls follow suit, revealing their choices and delivering their heartfelt verdicts.

With new couples formed, how will the surprise recoupling impact life in the Villa moving forwards?

AIDAN’S MAJOR NAME DROP BLUNDER… AGAIN

That evening, Yasmin pulls Aidan for a chat on the Terrace, desperate for some answers following his awkward blunder the previous night.

“Last night you called me Ellie,” she reminds him. “I don’t know how it came up again.”

“I just feel like it’s constant digs at me…” she admits.

Aidan is quick to defend himself, responding, “I think you’re being really unfair right now. You’re trying to make me look like a nasty person.”

The atmosphere remains frosty as the pair attempt to navigate the current state of their relationship.

“I liked you, I made it very clear, I cut people off for you Ellie…” Aidan says, accidentally slipping up again.

Will Yasmin be able to forgive yet another name slip-up? Can their bond weather this latest storm? And does Aidan still have Ellie on the brain?

As the conversation reaches boiling point, a frustrated Aidan makes a hasty exit from the Terrace when the conversation doesn’t go to his liking.

LOVE TRIANGLE TENSION REACHES BOILING POINT

Once the Terrace is vacant again, Mica puts on her grafting boots and invites Simba to chat.

While the two explore their chemistry, Simba opens up about the challenge of navigating his interest in Mica while attempting to remain respectful of his connection with Angelista.

“I feel like it’s early for boundaries,” Mica says. 

The heat rises as Simba pays Mica countless compliments and the pair hold hands.

Afterwards, Simba returns to Angelista in the Snug. After he discloses the details of his Terrace rendezvous, an unamused Angelista sarcastically says, “Thanks for ruining my night.”

Having walked off, Simba gathers the boys to vent about his predicament. He recounts his frosty interaction with Angelista and ponders his next move, wondering if he should venture back to the Terrace.

“Shall I just go up there with Mica?” he asks them.
