LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: FULL RUNDOWN FOR TONIGHT'S EPISODE, MONDAY 8th JUNE 2026

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 and ITVX, here's a full rundown of tonight's episode...

CAUGHT ON CAMERA: THE NEW BOMBSHELLS DATE THE BOYS 

Following their introduction to the group, fresh arrivals Namibia and Victoria select their preferred boys for intimate one-on-one dates. However, little do they all know that the girls back in the Villa are watching the whole thing unfold.

Ope, whose comments to the boys raised eyebrows with the girls, sits down with Victoria and makes a bold first impression by kissing her hand.

When questioned by Victoria about his current coupling, Ope tells her that things have been progressing at a slower pace than what he’s used to.

"So you still haven't had your first kiss?" Victoria asks.

"No, are you going to be my first kiss?" Ope responds cheekily.

With his antics broadcast on the big screen for all to see, the girls are stunned by the interaction. 

“I did not expect him to act like this,” a surprised Yasmin notes.

THE BOYS ARE MET WITH AN ICY RECEPTION UPON THEIR RETURN

With Cocktail Night drawing to a close, the boys make their way back to the Villa with Namibia and Victoria.

Upon their entrance, the boys are puzzled by the girls' absence and the lack of a warm welcome awaiting them. 

Aidan spots the big screen and the penny drops. He tells the boys, “Oh no, they watched it.”

A nervous Ope admits to Aidan and Kavan, “I was saying the madness.”

As the boys grapple with the realisation of what was shown, several uncomfortable discussions loom.

Ope attempts to pull Angelista for a conversation, but she shuts down his request.

Providing a frank assessment of what she saw, Jasmine tells one Islander: “A bunch of you acted like boys, and a bunch of you acted like men.”

YASMIN AND ELLIE STAGE AN INTERVENTION FOR AIDAN

The next day, intent on clearing the air, Yasmin and Ellie pull Aidan for a chat to iron things out and put an end to the ‘sandwich’ speculation.

“This is to clear stuff up for Yas,” Ellie starts. “I feel like you’re saying one thing to me and one thing to her and it’s not fair.”

Aidan accuses Ellie of stirring the pot and the tensions rise as Aidan observes: “I think it’s pretty clear what’s going on.”

Sensing his irritation, Ellie comes back, “Why are you coming vexed at me? Because I’ll just come back to you with the same energy.”

Was the conversation as productive as the girls hoped? Will they be able to move forward and draw a line in the sand?

TWO ISLANDERS PAY A VISIT TO THE HIDEAWAY GARDEN

Elsewhere, two Islanders seek a private moment far from the prying eyes of the Villa and head to the seclusion of the Hideaway Garden.

The pair get comfortable on the Swing as they chat about their growing connection.

"Can you stop looking at me like you want to eat me?" one Islander jokes playfully.

The other quips back, "Shall I bring my knife and fork next time?"

The flirty energy fizzes as moves are made.
