LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: MONDAY 17 JUNE 2024

Here's a rundown of what happens on tonight's episode of Love Island, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

CIARAN MAKES A CONFESSION TO NICOLE

As night falls over the Villa comments made by Ciaran during the game of beer pong play on his mind.

As his connection with Nicole continues to blossom, Ciaran wants to come clean about what he told Omar, that he would have chosen to kiss Grace in the game.

Speaking to Nicole, Ciaran admits: “You know after you kissed, wellI I may have made a comment in passing…Omar asked me, if you were going to choose who would it have been instead of me kissing Jess…I said Grace.”

Nicole asks: “Why? Right…why would you say something like that?”

Assuring Nicole, Ciaran responds: “I didn’t mean it, it was out of pettiness because I don’t fancy Grace.”

It appears Nicole thinks otherwise as she quips back: “Well you obviously do…I don’t know what to say…crack on with her…”

Before walking away from the conversation with Ciaran, Nicole says: “Comments like that just shows how immature you actually are.”

It seems honesty may not have been the best policy as Ciaran reflects on his confession and says: “I’ve made my bed, I’ve got to lie in it now.”

HARRIETT LOSES HOPE IN HER CONNECTION WITH RONNIE

Having previously coupled up with Jess before being chosen by Harriett, Ronnie was whisked away from the Villa and taken to a sleepover by new arrival Tiffany.

Reflecting on her relationship with Ronnie, Harriett confides in Sean and asks him: “Surely Ronnie is not going to jump from Jess, jump to me and then jump to Tiffany when he doesn’t even know the girl. Actually, surely not?”

Sean replies to Harriett: “The thing is with Ronnie, is he going to do that with every single person that comes in?”

Harriett goes on to tell Sean: “I think for me I just want to know, it’s the anticipating and the waiting around that's doing me in a bit. It says more about him than it does me.”

Has Harriett run out of patience? And will Ronnie come clean about his antics at the sleepover upon his return?

JOEY ATTEMPTS TO CLEAR THE AIR WITH SAMANTHA

As the sleepover shifts the dynamics in the Villa, Samantha reflects on how Grace’s arrival has impacted her connection with Joey.

Later that evening Joey pulls Samantha for a chat. 

Joey says: “I saw you upset earlier.”

Samantha replies: “Well yeah, I feel embarrassed if I’m being completely honest…I just feel like I was a bit of a placeholder until someone else came in.”

Joey attempts to assure Samantha: “I didn’t want this to be the outcome.”

Samantha asks: “Did you kiss each other in there?"

Will Joey reveal what really happened at the sleepover?
