NEW PULLS NEW EPISODES OF LONG LOST FAMILY FROM SCHEDULES AND REPLACES THEM WITH REPEATS
ITV have pulled remaining episodes of Long Lost Family, due to air on Thursday nights throughout the Autumn, from its schedules and replaced them with repeats of Long Lost Family.

Long Lost Family becomes the latest in a long list of shows which ITV have either pushed back or removed from its schedules and replaced with repeats. TV Zone previously revealed how new episodes of The 1% Club, Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening, Beat The Chasers, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Password will all not air this Autumn as planned.
Last month ITV also postponed the launch of Deal Or No Deal and pulled new episodes of The Chase from weekday afternoons after just two weeks. Many of these shows - such as Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening - have been replaced by repeats of the same show in their intended slots.
Long Lost Family is the middle of its 16th series and sees presenters Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell reunite more family members with their missing loved ones. Together with a team of trained intermediaries, DNA experts and investigators, Nicky and Davina find people that previously couldn’t be traced and answer questions that have haunted their entire lives.
This series started with viewers meeting Avril, who was 15 when she placed her daughter for adoption in 1964. She has carried the pain of that separation with her since, and now she is dreaming of finally seeing her again.
Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell also investigated the case of Marie, who was raised by her grandparents and has never known her father. As a train conductor, she meets strangers every day and wonders whether they could be related to her. She now yearns for answers.
Long Lost Family is available now on ITVX.
