REVEALED: THE SHOWS PUSHED BACK OR POSTPONED UNTIL 2027 BY ITV AS BROADCASTER FILLS SCHEDULE WITH REPEATS THIS AUTUMN
TV Zone can reveal the shows which have been pushed back or rescheduled by ITV as more and more repeats creep into the broadcaster's schedule this Autumn.

Many returnable gameshow formats including The 1% Club, Beat The Chasers, Bullseye and Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening will now broadcast in 2027 instead of this Autumn as planned. In many cases, such as Parents' Evening, ITV have been airing repeats of the last series in the slots intended for the new episodes.
One weekend in September saw primetime 8pm slots filled with repeats of The 1% Club and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The following week repeats of Millionaire Hot Seat and It'll Be Alright On The Night filled weekday peaktime slots.
One insider has attributed the schedule changes to ITV's recent takeover deal by Sky, where a proportion of the final price Sky will pay is dependent on the ITV's total ad-revenue during 2027. As a result, it's suggested ITV have pushed many returnable entertainment formats back to 2027 in an attempt to bolster its schedule to increase the takeover price.
ITV declined to comment when approached. A full rundown of the shows pushed back or rescheduled below...
THE 1% CLUB
Earlier this year ITV announced a landmark three-year deal for The 1% Club. The show sees 100 contestants begin every show, but to make it to the end and win the top prize of up to £100,000, contestants must correctly answer a question only 1% of the country would get right.
TV Zone understands there are currently eight episodes on the shelf from the previous series which were due to begin airing in September. TV Zone understands new episodes will broadcast later this year.
BEAT THE CHASERS
Beat The Chasers sees individuals take on all six Chasers - The Governess, The Vixen, The Menace, The Dark Destroyer, The Beast and The Sinnerman - in the hope of winning a huge cash prize.
To build a cash pot, the contestants have to answer multiple choice questions - get the first one wrong, and they are out, but answer one or more correctly and they get to face the Chasers, who offer time and money in order to take them on.
TV Zone understands the new series will begin in early 2027.
ROMESH RANGANATHAN'S PARENTS' EVENING
The third series of Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening - originally planned to air this Autumn - will now air in early 2027, TV Zone understands. The show will still air its Christmas special this year.

PASSWORD
The second series of Stephen Mangan hosted word association game Password has been retooled for a new pre-watershed slot on ITV, TV Zone understands. The series was due to air this year but now looks likely to air in 2027.
Each episode of Password sees two celebrities pair up with contestants to give one-word clues that aim to help their teammate guess a mystery ‘password’. In a change to the previous series, the second series will see different celebrity captains each episode.

New episodes of Deal Or No Deal were originally due to begin in September, however were pushed back and replaced by repeats at the last minute. Contestants took to social media to reveal their appearances had been "postponed". TV Zone understands the new run will begin in November.
LONG LOST FAMILY
ITV have pulled remaining episodes of Long Lost Family, due to air on Thursday nights throughout the Autumn, from its schedules and replaced them with repeats from Thursday 8th October. JOSIE GIBSON'S BIG COUNTRY BUILD
Presenter Josie Gibson will embark upon the renovation of a lifetime as she opens the doors to her new West country home.
