ITV BECOMES FREE-TO-AIR HOME OF HARRY POTTER AND FANTASTIC BEASTS FILM SERIES

ITV today announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Content Sales, with all eleven films of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series available to stream on ITVX now, just in time for the school holidays.

The deal sees all eight Harry Potter films, and the three Fantastic Beasts films made available on the platform, which officially makes ITVX the exclusive free-to-stream home of the series. For the duration that the films are available on the platform, ITV1 and 2 viewers will also get to enjoy this epic franchise.

The magical film franchise, which has grossed over $9.6billion worldwide at the box office, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, as the first film adaptation -Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone - premiered in November 2001.

Head of ITV Content Acquisitions Darren Nartey commented: ‘We are extremely proud to make these iconic British films available for both old and new fans to stream, for free, during the summer holidays and beyond!’
