IT GETS WORSE: FIRST LOOK IMAGES AND FURTHER CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR NEW CHANNEL 4 COMEDY
Coming to Channel 4 next month, new images have been released for new comedy It Gets Worse, produced by A24. Written, created by and starring Leo Reich, the new images feature guest stars Lena Dunham as Greta, Amelia Dimoldenberg as Emily, Blake Harrison as Roger, Vicki Pepperdine as Sarah and Clayton Pettet (Babymorocco) as Freddy.
Alongside these guest stars, a brand-new image of Leo Reich as Ethan, Emily Fairn as Abi and Olive Gray as Sam have been released. The series will be narrated by award-winning acclaimed novelist Zadie Smith. It Gets Worse will be premiering at the London Film Festival next month on Wednesday 14th October.
It Gets Worse follows Ethan, Abi, and Sam. Best friends from uni, soulmates for life, and dysfunctional roommates. It’s been a year since they finally managed to move to London, they have collectively accomplished nothing, and now their landlord is selling up. They’re getting kicked out. What now?
Can they keep their friendships alive when they are dispersed across a city that seems to want them dead? Can they find a six out of ten or higher to have bad sex with? Can they get their shit together when the world is so obviously falling apart? Probably not. But they’re going to have fun trying.
It Gets Worse is a show about three young people who are starting to look around themselves — at their humiliating jobs, their non-existent love lives and their rapidly dwindling will to live — and think: wait. Wait wait WAIT. Surely it gets better than this? It has to get better than this. Right? Spoiler alert! It doesn’t.
It Gets Worse begins this November on Channel 4.
