JIMMY CARR'S I LITERALLY JUST TOLD YOU TO RETURN FOR NEW SERIES ON CHANNEL 4

I Literally Just Told You, Channel 4’s Jimmy Carr fronted primetime comedy gameshow will return later this year with a run of new episodes.

The show, which was created by Richard Bacon and produced by Expectation, has seen audiences grow with each series on both linear viewing and streaming. The show is also set to be recommissioned for a fourth series TV Zone understands.

In each episode of I Literally Just Told You, four contestants have the opportunity to compete for a cash prize of up to £25,000 by answering questions that have been written live as the show is being filmed.

The questions can be about absolutely anything that happens during the show, from a celebrity cameo to an off the cuff joke or even something one of the contestants has shared about themselves.

Steven Handley who commissioned the series for Channel 4, previously said, “I Literally Just Told You is one of the most creative quizzes on TV, so we are delighted Jimmy will return to throw more mind-bending memory questions at the audience for the show’s biggest run so far.

Phil Harris, Head of Entertainment at Channel 4, previously said: “Friday nights on Channel 4 are a real comedy entertainment destination so I’m delighted to bring our viewers more of Jimmy and Literally to take its place in our bold and innovative Friday night slate.”

I Literally Just Told You is available to stream on Channel 4.
