HOLE IN THE WALL: REBOOT OF GAMESHOW FORMAT IN DEVELOPMENT

Iconic gameshow Hole In The Wall could be set to return to screens, with reports from The Sun newspaper that a reboot is in development and the production company behind the format are seeking a broadcaster.

Hole In The Wall saw two teams of celebrities try to force themselves through crazy-shaped holes in giant moving walls. The show only ran for two series, first hosted by Dale Winton and later Anton Du Beke.

A source told The Sun: "The production company that own the rights to the show have been floating the idea of bringing it back with broadcasters. That includes the BBC, but just because it started out on the Beeb doesn’t mean it will end up there second time round, it could end up on ITV or even a streamer...

"It could even lead to a bidding war between some big companies, many of whom will now be headed up by execs who used to watch the show when they were growing up."

More details will be revealed in due course.
