HOLBY CITY RETURN DATE CONFIRMED

BBC confirm that Holby City will return this November after a forced three-month break.

The new series will begin with a 45 minute episode on Tuesday 10th November, 8:15-9pm on BBC One. Due to the Children In Need evening of programming on Friday 13th November, EastEnders will air two episodes that evening, at 7:30pm and 7:55pm respectively.

The synopsis for the new episode of Holby City reads: Ric (Hugh Quarshie) wakes, after brain surgery, to find that the world around him has completely changed and that Holby is gripped by a coronavirus pandemic. What are Ric’s chances of survival?

Sacha’s (Bob Barrett) colleagues are concerned by his nonchalant behaviour following Essie’s (Kaye Wragg) death - but will he turn them all away in favour of a stranger? Cowardly Cameron (Nic Jackman) struggles to be the hero, but will he come up smelling of roses?
