Gordon Ramsay has confirmed previous reports that he is in talks with ITV to reboot his iconic cooking format Hell's Kitchen in the UK.

Talks of a revival were first reported in 2024. At the time, both Ramsay and ITV declined to comment. Then, last Summer, Ramsay trademarked the title in the UK, with The Sun newspaper reporting there were plans to open new restaurants following the rebooted series.

Speaking to The Sun's Proper Daily Football Show, Ramsay revealed: "I can tell you exclusively, I think we’re gonna come back to the UK with Hell’s Kitchen live next year. And it’s about time because everywhere I go across the UK it’s ‘please bring it back’. So we’re talking now with ITV to bring it back. And fingers crossed we’ll have something exciting to keep you updated on."

A source originally told The Sun in 2024: "Early conversations are happening and ITV are very excited about the prospect of it returning. It is one of Gordon’s biggest shows around the world by miles and is broadcast to around 100 countries - so it really is huge. The real hurdle for him will be fitting it in among his other commitments, but everyone seems thrilled at the mere idea."

Meanwhile, Netflix have reportedly commissioned a second series of Gordon Ramsay following the success of Being Gordon Ramsay, according to The Sun newspaper.

The new series, titled Gordon Ramsay At 60, will follow the chef as he approaches a milestone birthday. A source told The Sun: "Being Gordon Ramsay is Netflix’s biggest non-scripted series ever. The appetite for a second show was absolutely huge, and when the idea of cataloguing Gordon reaching his landmark 60th was mooted, Netflix obviously jumped at the chance."

Being Gordon Ramsay follows the chef in the lead-up to his biggest restaurant ventures to date: the opening of five culinary experiences in one of London’s tallest buildings, 22 Bishopsgate.

This is Gordon as we have never seen him before as he opens the doors to his home and businesses. Over a 6 month window, the expansion of his restaurant empire begins to take shape and, with the official launch fast approaching, we see Gordon balance the challenges that come with it with his life as a husband to Tana, and father to their six children.

More details will be announced in due course.
