Based on Alice Oseman’s best-selling graphic novels of the same name, Heartstopper follows Nick and Charlie’s high school friendship as it blossoms into something more.

In Season 3, Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realise that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges.

As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn't go to plan.

Joining the cast this series will be Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton) as Jack Maddox, an social media star who Charlie crushes on. Also joining as Nick aunt Diane is Hayley Atwell (Avengers: Endgame) and Eddie Marsan (Back To Black) will play Charlie's therapist Geoff.

Executive producer Patrick Walters said: "We put so much love into the making of Heartstopper so to reassemble the team for two more seasons [seasons two and three] is a dream come true. I’m forever grateful to Alice Oseman for entrusting us with this beautiful, unique story that at its core seeks to uplift the next generation of young LGBTQ+ people. Stay tuned!"

Heartstopper Series 3 lands 3rd October on Netflix.
